Foundations and special applications

EPOCAST36® is a 2-component casting resin which, due to its very good physical properties, offers and is suitable as an equivalent replacement for steel chocks in the bearings of ship propulsion machinery including auxiliary equipment, gears, steering gear, thrust and support bearings, etc. In addition to cost-effective installation, adapters offer additional advantages, such as compensation for uneven surfaces and driven adapters, and they reduce noise and vibration.

Fillable casting compound

EPOCAST36-P® is a trowellable, non-spillable, two-component epoxy resin compound specifically designed for the storage of LNG/LPG tanks and other containment systems. This is a further development of the proven casting resin system EPOCAST 36® and is used wherever casting resins can no longer be used due to their viscosity. EPOCAST 36-P® is extremely resilient and has good adhesion properties, even at extremely low temperatures.

Celloflex-M®

The propeller shafts, which are often exposed in the water in twin systems, are subject to severe corrosion, caused e.g. by stray currents. The Devcon Celloflex-M® shaft lining was developed to protect against this corrosion.
